The Tutorial Modal serves as a guide to help users understand the document alignment process. It can be accessed via the question mark icon located in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen in Compare Mode.

Accessibility​

  • Automatic Display:
    The modal appears automatically the first time a user initiates the alignment process.
  • Persistent Tracking:
    Local storage tracks whether the modal has been viewed. It will reappear if site data is cleared.

Structure of the Tutorial Modal​

  1. Image/Text Tutorial:

    • Displays a tutorial image and descriptive text at the top of the modal.

  2. Stepper:

    • Indicates the current step in the tutorial process.

  3. Next/Okay Button:

    • Allows users to advance to the next step or complete the tutorial.

  4. Close Icon:

    • Enables users to exit the tutorial at any time.

Future Enhancements​

Currently, the tutorial modal is available for the Align function in Compare Mode. There are plans to extend its functionality to other modules, potentially incorporating animated guides for demonstration purposes in the future.
