Verify Local Installation
Confirm the three installed components are configured for a local test.
Complete the installation, configure Rasterex Backend, run the common-data seed step when required, and update the installed Canvas configuration with the Backend Engine and Rasterex Backend URLs.
Use this checklist to confirm the installed system is ready for a local customer test.
- The installer completed all three packages: Backend Engine (RxView360), Rasterex Backend, and Rasterex Canvas.
- Rasterex Canvas exists in IIS and is Started.
- Rasterex Backend starts with working customer database settings.
- Common data has been seeded when required by the DB backend setup.
- Canvas has the Backend Engine and Rasterex Backend URLs configured in its installed configuration file.
- Canvas opens at its configured local URL.
- Open a supported test document and confirm that it renders in Canvas.
Check the component named by the failed step before changing another part of the installation. For Canvas loading issues, check the IIS site and its binding. For DB backend startup issues, check the database settings in .env and the documented connection errors. For document rendering issues, confirm the configured Backend Engine URL before retesting.
